Don't Look Now, But The X-Class Solar Flares Are Hitting Earth Again

2023 so far seems like a ticket to the same show as last year’s dystopia — if not even weirder.

NASA noted the X-class solar flare, which struck Earth yesterday evening.

According to NOAA/SWPC data, yesterday the Earth was hit by a quite strong R3 radio blackout, due to a X-class solar flare hitting our planet.

As shown above, x-ray recorded values spiked above the X threshold yesterday briefly. The system is logarithmic so a X class solar flare is much stronger than more common M and C class flares.
