Bitcoin prices jumped sharply Thursday

Bitcoin and Ethereum, the number one and two largest cryptocurrency networks by market cap, moved markedly higher on Thursday.

According to coinmarketcap.com, a site which indexes and ranks various coin market capitalizations, Bitcoin values in USD rose about +13.8% over the last 24 hours, while Ether values in USD rose about +15.2%.
