Bitcoin Surges As PayPal Acceptance Announced

Simply gigantic news for cryptocurrency fans today, as Bitcoin (and some of its crypto competitors) will reportedly be added to PayPal — a move that Bitcoin users have fantasized about and wished for, for quite some time, it sounds like.

From MSN: “On Wednesday, PayPal announced it will start offering users the ability to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies through their online wallets. The company also said it would allow its 26 million merchants use cryptocurrency for payments.”

The article says PayPal will initially support buys and sells of four cryptos — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin.
